With 45 Partners and over 400 staff, we are committed to delivering exceptional value to our clients. Our history

SW Accountants & Advisors has been operating in Australia since 1935.

SW, formerly known as Moore Stephens Melbourne, has a rich history of delivering exceptional service to Australian businesses. With origins dating back to 1935 as Hughes Fincher, we have built a reputation for our commitment to quality and the success of our clients. Our long-standing relationships with many of our clients, extending over decades and even generations, are a testament to the trust they place in us.

 

On February 1, 2015, Moore Stephens Melbourne rebranded as ShineWing Australia, and in May 2021, we further evolved our brand to become SW. Our rebranding reflects our ongoing commitment to growth and innovation, as we continue to provide exceptional service to our clients across Australia and beyond. As a national firm with a global network, we are well-positioned to deliver comprehensive accounting and business advisory services to clients of all sizes and across all industries.

International network

SW International

SW International is a global network of independent accounting and consulting firms, with over 11,000 people, including 600+ partners, in more than 103 offices across 23 regions, connecting and collaborating to take care of your needs locally, nationally, and internationally.

 

In 2024, SW International generated approximately USD 736m in revenue. According to the World Survey 2025 published by the International Accounting Bulletin, the network is ranked 23 globally by fee income and 20 by total headcount among the top 30 accounting networks.

 

SW International currently has member firms located in 23 regions, including Australia, Chile, Democratic Republic of the Congo, Egypt, Germany, Hong Kong, India, Indonesia, Japan, Macau, Mainland China, Malaysia, Pakistan, Republic of Guinea, Saudi Arabia, Singapore, Spain, Taiwan, Thailand, Turkey, the UAE, the United Kingdom, and Vietnam.
